John Richardson, Academy Director
John Richardson is one of our most experienced development professionals. In addition to being one of the main architects of the Holistic Academy, he provides a rare combination of leadership at the highest level and over 15 years of providing professional training & development to a wide variety of organisations.
Born in Surrey, John’s formative years were in South West Wales. His early career was in the area of quality engineering and management in the automotive industry. Working with Volvo, Jaguar and Ford amongst others, he developed key process and leadership values that were instrumental in forming the basis for his later work in training.
John joined the Xerox Corporation as manager of business quality at Mitcheldean, Gloucestershire and the organisation's largest manufacturing site in Europe. The same business management disciplines that had been so successfully implemented in the automotive manufacturing sector were set to become critical in providing Xerox with robust process and leadership strategies. During the mid 90’s John joined the Xerox leadership development team as consultant and trainer, where he designed, developed and delivered a range of high impact programmes for Leaders all over the world.
From the US to Russia and Scandinavia to Nigeria, John’s unique blend of exceptional leadership development and high emphasis on business impact has ensured that the Holistic Academy continues to provide forward thinking businesses with the highest standards of practical development support.
