Martin Walton, Trainer

With a strong passion for learning, Martin has been designing and providing innovative people development solutions for over 15 years. He has successfully delivered development solutions to many large organisations in the private, public and voluntary sectors including Nokia, Friends Provident International, Department for Work and Pensions, Ministry of Defence and Scope.

Prior to starting his independent consultancy, Martin was employed by Xerox, initially in an International Technical Training Development role, where he gained a Certificate in Training Practice from the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD). After that, he moved into the Management Training Team, where his responsibilities were to match European development needs with the latest Management Training initiatives.

More recently, Martin has broadened his portfolio as a professional Coach and Mentor to a range of business leaders, as well as designing a Leadership coaching programme for a leading charity organisation. This involves each manager receiving individual coaching over several months to enable them to integrate their learning into their daily actions. He has also completed a series of ‘Communication Workshops’ for a large Blue Chip company, working with their teams in several different countries to improve the overall effectiveness of their communication skills. The workshops included setting quality standards and procedures to implement cross culturally throughout their sector.
Martin has a high level of interpersonal and organisational skills, which enables him to develop and deliver innovative and creative training solutions through the Holistic Academy.

    The Academy is part of the Holistic Group, a premier management consultancy company offering a seamless approach to people and process development.
